- Closing statement from the Clarion staff for the 1936-1937 year
- Dr. and Mrs. Robert E. Park left this morning for their summer home in Roaring Brook, Michigan; about the middle of June, Dr. Park will sail for Brazil, South America, where Dr. Pearson is now, and will return to Fisk in the fall
- Additions to the faculty next year include Dr. Donald Pearson, from San Palo University, coming to the Department of Sociology and Dr. Addision Cutler, of Columbia University, joining the Department of Economics
- The Fisk Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity will tender a banquet to the Senior Brothers tomorrow at Ann's Tea Room
- Mr. William Allen of our Music Department sails June 16 for Poland to study under Egon Petri; enroute Mr. Allen will stop in Paris, London, and Vienna; on his return, he will visit Moscow and Berlin

- Student Council election results are as follows: Samuel Allen (president), Rollins L. Winslow (Editor of the Fisk Herald), Wythe Cooper (Business Manager), and Josephine Dorsey, Ralph Amerson, Franklin Murphy, Mildred Gay, and Walter Goags (Members-at-large); Women's Senate election results are: Edna Alberta Dixon (president), Dorothy L. Scott(Vice president), Johnie Mariner (Secretary), Audrey Kent (Treasurer), Elwyn Ellison, Elizabeth McCree, Violet Smith, and Martha Ruddock (members-at-large)
- All choir members are asked to consult the bulletin boards
- Chapel Exercises are discontinued until next fall; exams start on June 1
- For curio-seekers is the relic of the old model steam fire engine used in Clarksville, Tennessee fire department in 1891, and now located on the outside of Louis B. Cline's factory, 810 17 Avenue North, opposite and below our launudry steam plant.
