- Announcements:
- Mr. Booker T. McGraw will be the special lecturer in the course in Current Economic Problems during the week of November 4th
- The religious service of Sunday will include the regular communion and elections of officers, including deacons and church clerks, for the current year
- Dr. B. W. Doyle left this morning for Memphis, Tennessee, where he will deliver an address before the West Tennessee Educational Conference; the theme of the conference is "The Child and the Curriculum"; Dr. Doyle will speak from the subject "New Lights on Old Problems."
- Miss Luanna J. Bowles left this morning in the interest of the Scholarship Fund; Miss Bowles will work among Quaker groups in Baltimore and Philadelphia
- The Tuskegee football team will arrive today for its contest with the Fisk Bulldogs
- The male members of the faculty, along with a few members of the Meharry faculty, are having gym classes in the gymnasium at 8:00 pm on Thursdays
- Dr. B.W. Doyle attended the Conference of Social Science Teachers in Negro Colleges, Saturday, October 26, 1935, at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C
- The Stagecrafters will open the season with a matinee performance
- The Little Theater will be opened with three plays of Negro life written by Negro authors; the plays are: Bad Man and Old Man Pete by Randolph Edmonds, and Riding the Goat by Mae Miller
- List of new books at the Library: Glasgow's "Vein of Iron," Eriffault's "Europa," Cronin's "Stars Look Down," Walpole's "Inquisitor," Zweig's "Mary, Queen of Scotland," and Lawrence's "Seven Pillars of Wisdom."
