- Coach "Tubby" Johnson took 22 men of the Fisk Bulldogs Football team to Knoxville for the October 26, 1935 game against the Knoxville Bulldogs; the game will be one of the features of the Eleventh Annual Homecoming Day at Knoxville College
- The ladies of the Fisk community are holding gym classes on Wednesday evenings from 7 until 8
- Mr. W. L. Cash, Sr., guest minister for Sunday morning services, has held several important offices in the Congregational Church
- Dr. St. Elmo Brady and Mr. Andrew J. Allison are accompanying the football team to Knoxville
- Mr. Robert Pyle, horticulturist, is a visitor on the campus|
- Misses Dorothy Scott, Josephine Dorsey, and Vera Chandler will represent the Y.W.C.A. and Mr. Burnell Davis, the Y.M.C.A. at the conference on "Social and Economic problems of the South", to be held in Chattanooga Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27; Dr. Charles S. Johnson of the faculty will speak on "Shadows of the Plantation" on Saturday at 2:30 p.m
- Mr. Samuel Ellen was a delegate from Fisk at the Y.M.C.A. to the Student Inter-Collegiate Council Meeting which was held at the Y.W.C.A. forum on Wednesday evening
- The Indianapolis Conference Institute will be held at Scarritt College beginning Saturday, October 26, at 2:00; the conference will close with the meeting on Sunday at 7; several students will be delegates to the conference
- Mr. Marcus M. Rambo, principal of the Douglass Junior High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be a visitor on the campus over the week-end.
